Root Shoot Malting: Cara Ruby

Provides a distinct ruby color when steeped. Lends body to any craft beer due to some unfermentables. Floral aroma and earthy, walnut-like flavors of light caramel, and roasty strawberry cereal. Malted from Genie variety 2-row spring barley.

Aroma & Flavor: Light Caramel, Earthy, Roasty Strawberry

Usage: Grist ratios up to 20%, while higher ratios are more assertive in their flavor contribution. Not recommended for use at 100% grist, rather as a flavor contributor.
